Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what the three forms on AnimalFeedAdditives.net collect, why, who receives a request, how long it is kept and how to see, correct or delete it. Reading any page needs no account and no form, and the site takes no payments.

AnimalFeedAdditives.net is an independent reference that sells no product. Two of its forms pass a request to independent parties and the third reaches only the editorial team, so each is described separately below. The reference on types of feed additives works without any form.

What Data Do the AnimalFeedAdditives.net Forms Collect?#

AnimalFeedAdditives.net collects only what you type into one of its forms, plus the page you sent it from and the time you sent it. Each submission is stored with that source page and time, and the site adds nothing else to it. An email address is the only contact field that is required, and a company name is optional on supplier quote requests.

The table lists each form, what it asks for and whether the data leaves the editorial team.

Why Is Form Data Used?#

Form data is used for three purposes: to pass a quote request to independent suppliers, to pass a question to independent experts, and to answer a message or correct a page.

  • Supplier quotes: the request you describe is passed on so independent suppliers can respond.
  • Expert answers: your question is passed on so independent regulatory or formulation experts can respond.
  • Replies and corrections: a contact message is read so the editorial team can answer it or correct a page.

The site and its editorial team give no veterinary or nutrition advice, and no form asks for animal health records, so please do not enter them in the description or message fields. Enter only what a supplier or expert needs to answer, such as the additive, the species and the country. The site promises no response time and no number of quotes, suppliers or experts.

Who Receives a Supplier Quote Request or an Expert Question?#

A supplier quote request goes to independent suppliers of the additive you name, and an expert question goes to independent regulatory or formulation experts; no other form leaves the editorial team. What they receive is what you typed into the form, so the additive, grade, quantity and country reach suppliers, and the topic, species and description reach experts, together with the email address you gave so that they can answer you. This page names no company as a receiver. The suppliers and experts are independent of the site, and the site does not endorse any of them.

Nobody can pay for a ranking or a listing. We pass requests on to independent suppliers and experts; nobody pays to be named on this site (see the editorial policy).

Which data stays with the editorial team?#

Contact messages and corrections stay with the editorial team and are never passed to suppliers or experts. They go to editorial@animalfeedadditives.net and are read only by the editorial team, who use them to reply or to correct a page.

Does AnimalFeedAdditives.net Use Cookies, Analytics or Advertising?#

No: AnimalFeedAdditives.net runs no analytics service and works with no advertising vendor, so it sets no analytics or advertising cookie. The site therefore does not track which pages a reader visits, builds no advertising profile and shows no third-party advertisements.

If that changes, this page changes first and names the vendor before the change takes effect. The only data the site holds about a reader is what that reader chose to submit through a form. Reading pages, following links and using the reference leaves no record tied to a person.

How Long Is Form Data Kept?#

Supplier quote requests, expert questions and contact messages are kept for 24 months, then deleted. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time by writing to the editorial address, as described in the section on seeing, correcting and deleting your data.

Each submission is held together with its source page and time, so a request is found and removed as one record. Once the 24 months are over, the record is removed from the site's database. The same retention applies to all three forms, so a contact message is not kept longer than a quote request.

How Is Form Data Stored and Protected?#

Form data is stored in the site's own database and read only by the editorial team. Pages are static; only the form endpoints run when a request arrives, and they accept submissions only, returning generic error messages.

Every page of the site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted on its way to the site. Access to the stored requests is limited to the editorial team. The site holds no payment data and no account details, because it has neither payments nor accounts.

How Can You See, Correct or Delete Your Data?#

Write to editorial@animalfeedadditives.net from the address you used and say whether you want to see, correct or delete your data.

  • See: you receive the data held under your address.
  • Correct: wrong or outdated details are changed.
  • Delete: the records held under your address are removed, before the 24 months end if you ask.

Name the form and the date you sent it, so the request can be found. Only the editorial team reads the mailbox. If you want to correct a page rather than your own data, say which page and what is wrong, and the editorial team handles it as a contact message. A request about your data is answered from the same address.

Changes to the AnimalFeedAdditives.net Privacy Policy#

When this privacy policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A new vendor or a new kind of receiver appears here before it takes effect. Who publishes the site is described in the page about AnimalFeedAdditives.net.
